NEW YORK (FOX5NY.COM) - "Valley Stream is the best" seems to be a popular opinion among residents of Valley Stream on Long Island. But hey, it is warranted because Money Magazine officially named it the best place to live in New York State.
"Valley Stream is a wonderful, friendly, welcoming community," Mayor Ed Fare said at a press conference Friday celebrating the honor.
The Nassau County village was selected based on its economy, education, affordability, safety, convenience, and overall quality of life.
